I Want That Ball...

Bengal Tiger at the National Zoo in Washington DC. The pink lump in the water is a large ball that the keepers have in the exhibit for enhancement. He was watching that ball very intently, waiting as it floated slowly forward, sneering at it occassionally. When it was close enough for his taste, he pounced and dragged it out of the water. A woman down the way had been yelling at him all the while, shouting, "Jump in the water." I would not have been surprised if this tiger, after dragging the ball out of the water, turned and stuck his tongue out.
