Redoubt 10

Redoubt #10, part of the British works at Yorktown, VA. This was the redoubt the Americans under Alexander Hamilton stormed in an effort to clear their path for their second seige line, closer to Cornwallis's lines. Redoubt 9, which is behind me in this picture, was attacked simultaneously by French forces. You can't see it in this picture, but there's a chainlink fence around this earthwork to prevent tourists from climbing on it, as most of it has been eroded away by the York River
